This family absolutely loves hosting and wanted an open-concept feel so we expanded their once 100 sq. ft. one room, secluded kitchen into a 300 sq. ft. kitchen with 2 islands fit for entertaining. After providing our client with multiple options, they decided to go with “bigger is better!” We eliminated walls expanding the kitchen to the farthest lengths of the room. We raised the ceiling to meet the existing pitched roof and give a lighter and brighter feel. We also incorporated a traditional design with a royal arabesque marble backsplash, yet slight modern look with touches of matte black and muted brass throughout.
