Poway Valley
This project involved a complete home remodel as it was taken down to the studs changing the layout and functionality of the entire space. The original design featured a compartmentalized floor plan with no true master bathroom and an enclosed kitchen that felt disconnected from the rest of the home. Our goal was to create an open, modern layout that maximized space, natural light, and flow while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout.
A key transformation was the addition of a true master bathroom. By optimizing the layout, we incorporated a spacious double vanity and a generously sized stand-alone shower — all while preserving the bedroom's size and comfort. The kitchen was completely opened up to create an inviting, open-concept living space. We added a breakfast nook within the island and a dining area positioned in front of the sliding doors. To further connect the indoors with the outdoors, we widened the rear opening and installed larger sliding glass doors, allowing natural light to flood the space and offering seamless views of the backyard.
The kitchen now flows effortlessly into the living room, making it ideal for family living and entertaining. The guest bathroom also received a complete transformation, with the original single vanity upgraded to a double vanity. Playful, eye-catching tile creates a "wow" factor, adding character and personality to the space.
To maintain a cohesive design throughout the home, we incorporated a serene, earthy green color palette that appears in various finishes and materials. This soothing hue carries through the interior and extends to the home’s exterior, creating a sense of harmony and continuity from the outside in. The result is a thoughtfully designed, modernized home that offers style, function, and a seamless connection to its surroundings.
