We reconfigured the layout by removing the wall between the dining room and kitchen, creating an open-concept space that maximizes natural light and visibility, allowing the client to supervise her children while cooking. The flooring was upgraded to a continuous, seamless finish that enhances the flow of the space. For the cabinetry, we selected two complementary tones and applied a custom wood stain, while the island features a sophisticated natural stone countertop for added contrast and visual interest. The fireplace was given a refined makeover, preserving the original brick while incorporating light wood tones in the built-ins and plaster finish adding a modern touch and achieving a cohesive and inviting ambiance throughout the kitchen and living area.
